According to the head of the “KAMAZ-MASTER” team Vladimir Chagin, the gas equipment was installed on the sports truck just before the start, but anyway they managed to test this car:
- The engine of the experimental car works at a mixture of diesel fuel and gas. During tests we didn't notice deterioration of speed performance. The engine works at low rpm more steadily, it is very important when driving on off-road terrain. During all race we will estimate a consumption of diesel fuel and gas to define economic effect from the installation of this equipment. We wonder what good it can do, because the application of the gas on transport has a great future.
