On 16 July delegation of ESAB company visited the race team KAMAZ-master. There guests were the Managing Director of ESAB Russia and CIS Konstantin Gorbach, the Sales Director in Russia Dmitry Kuraksa, the Head of the cutting product group Konstantin Demidov, the Head of the Service Department Denis Murinsky and the Marketing Communications Manager Elena Gulyugina. The visit was timed to start-up of automated machine for plasma and oxygen cutting SGX 2000.
Cooperation of ESAB and KAMAZ-master started in April, 2015. ESAB company provides the team with equipment, welding consumables and protection tools for welding and cutting works in preparation for competitions and routine maintenance and provides training of technical personnel of the team.
The visit program began on the test tracks in Tarlovka, where the Manager of Technological Bureau Vyacheslav Mizyukaev told the partners of the team in details about sport technologies, about novelties developed for the upcoming season, and the winner of Dakar-2017 Eduard Nikolaev showed a drive on the race KAMAZ. Representatives of ESAB company visited karting-club, that is under the patronage of KAMAZ-master Team, gave a high assessment to the training process, educational work and wished to support the work with talented young people.
During the startup ceremony of new gas-plasma cutter the Managing Director of ESAB Russia and CIS Konstantin Gorbach said: “We are happy of our partnership and cooperation with KAMAZ-master Team. We are happy that our equipment helps in a reliable way and without breakdowns to go from start to finish and return home alive and healthy. On the basis of this partnership we develop too, see the experience of exploitation of our equipment, and I’m sure that our partnership will continue and grow”.
The welder of the team Vyacheslav Fedorov was given a prize by ESAB company Director in the competition of professional skills “I choose ESAB”. Now the team specialist will work in Sentinel welding mask of the company.
In his reply the leader of the race team KAMAZ-master Vladimir Chagin thanked the team’s partners for cooperation and reliable partnership: “Equipment of ESAB company has successfully proved itself as in the production shop, so in conditions, when the team is on a rally. The race KAMAZ truck has a big number of bolted joints, but welding connections are more than a kilometer. Every connection must be accurate, strong and correct. Our partnership with ESAB company very seriously moved us forward in terms of reliability of race equipment”.
