MOSCOW, 27 June. The President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin in the Catherine Hall in Kremlin held a ceremony of state awards presentation.
“Among awardees – those who are known for the whole country and those, whose names are not so well-known. But all of you are united by the fact that you could fulfil your potential, your talents, hopes, benefit to people and motherland”, - said Vladimir Putin, addressing to the audience.
In the laureate list there were workers of science, culture, sportsmen, cosmonauts, workers of health care service and agriculture. In particular, head of the country gave first-class order of Merit for the Motherland. One of the knights became an actor of State Academic Theatre named after Vakhtangov Vladimir Etush. The First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma for Physical Culture and Sports Vyacheslav Fetisov was awarded with the second-class order of Merit for the Motherland, the President of the Tennis Federation and Director of NP“KAMAZ-Avtosport” Vladimir Chagin were presented with third-class awards.
In his reply, the leader of KAMAZ-master Team thanked the Russian President for the high reward.
“I commit together with my colleagues, devoted people to sport, striving to make our country stronger, continue to serve the purpose of Russian sport and automotive industry development”, - said Vladimir Chagin.
