The KAMAZ-master team will take part in events dedicated to the 50th anniversary of Novy Urengoy. The celebration of the anniversary of the "oil-gas field capital" of Russia, which will take place in 2025, includes many events of federal scale. On March 30, along with the demonstration races of the KAMAZ-master team, the final of the Russian Championship and Championship in cross-country on snowmobiles will also take place here. The Blue Armada will be represented by the team leader Eduard Nikolaev, pilots Airat Mardeev and Andrey Karginov.
Airat Mardeev: "We went to reconnaissance of the route, the city is interesting, small, but rapidly developing, there are many cultural and sports facilities that are currently under construction. Of course, the distance from our city of Naberezhnye Chelny to Novy Urengoy is very large, but we will be happy to come to demonstrate the capabilities of our sports trucks, to please motorsport fans, all residents and guests of the city!" The show program will involve two generations of sports KAMAZ trucks, a gas-diesel sports truck KAMAZ of the K3 family and the newest KAMAZ-435091 of the K5 family. Spectators will not only see a bright snow show, but will be able to see how the racing bivouac is set up, communicate with the pilots at a photo and autograph session, and purchase souvenirs from the team.
