Today in the press-centre of “Russia Today” was held a press-conference dedicated to the podium ceremony. The Head of the Silk Way Rally Vladimir Chagin and Project Deputy Director Frederic Lequien opened the event.
Airat Mardeev in his speech mentioned: “The most interesting part is going to be Chinese tracks. The race officials promise more sands, more impassibility, shorter liaisons and longer specials, - said the pilot. – We are happy that all our main rivals have come - three trucks of Petronas De Rooy Iveco, three trucks of Mammoet Riwald Rallysport, Loprais and two Tatras. The battle is going to be serious, there are no outsiders in the list. We are expecting a real battle!”
