On 6th June Red Bull, with support of VTB bank and TOTAL company organized an interesting event. KAMAZ race truck and a race car of Peugeot Sport Team got aboard a barge and floated down the Moskva river. In the evening pilots of the team could join the event.
Eduard Nikolav shared his experience:
“It was a very unusual activity yesterday. The best Dakar truck and car were going on a barge down the river. It was unusual and to be present there was doubly unusual.
There was a nice friendly atmosphere, we could communicate with best sportsmen, with repeated Dakar winners – Stephane Peterhansel, Cyril Despres, as well as with the team leader of Peugeot Sport Bruno Fomin. We could get a closer look at their jeep and tell more about our trucks.
Also the event organizers carried out a race on simulators for the pilots, where Sebastien Loeb from Peugeot Sport won.
In the end of the event there was a little after-party, where all racers and guests could talk and share their impressions.
