On 14 April the main trophy of KHL arrived to the capital of Tatarstan, where in the evening was the first match of the final play-off series between Ak Bars and CSKA.
The journey of the main KHL trophy in the stateroom of premium Moscow-Kazan train took a bit less than 12 hours and on platform of the railway station it was met by representatives of “Ak Bars”, photographers, journalists, fans. On the stroke of 8 in the morning the train arrived, the cup was accurately unloaded onto the platform. After the photo session, Gagarin’s Cup left the railway station building in hands of special communications officers and was loaded to the race KAMAZ, in which members of KAMAZ-master Team Ildar Shaisultanov and Robert Amatych brought precious hockey trophy to “Tatneft Arena”, where the match was held, that to the joy of their fans, finished with the victory of Tatarstan team “Ak Bars” in the score 2:1.
