Africa Race. Stage 11. Let everything will turn out!

The adventure of "Africa Eco Race-2015" comes to the end. The sports part is completed. 

 Anton Shibalov, pilot of the crew 401: "Special stage can hardly be called simple, but anyway it was easier than the previous stages. Organizers did their best, and sand was practically to the last kilometer. I can tell with confidence, this year the race was much more difficult, and participants of all categories note it. Very difficult sand, off road terrain is perfect. There was a stage when we thought that more simply cars won't reach the finish at all. Real challenge for people and machines. If you reached the finish, you precisely can do something in life. Recently we thought: here three more days to hold out and now there is no feeling that race is over, I think that in some days the regret that everything came to the end will come. It is unique experience, transition to the next step. Our rivals, certainly, cause respect, these are strong racers, real, very skilled. Our second crew very successfully coped with the first large-scale race. Excellent result!"

 Sergey Kupriyanov, pilot of the crew 404: "There was some fatigue at the liaison. This can happen when something important comes to the end, when you are in process, you don't notice fatigue, and then suddenly it comes and now there is such a moment. We are very happy with result, everything turned out on the top level of expectations. We drove very quickly, and tried to keep reliability level. Now it is necessary to rethink everything that occurred in recent days. Such a race - it's like another life lived in parallel with the main, for what I actually love rally raids. Each big race is a separate life. So that's that."

 During the race crews overcame 6837 km from which there were high-speed sections of 3430 km. Assistance passed 6112 km. Meeting and seeing off, starting and finishing, helping and repairing, listening to recommendations and making decisions – 18 days which are densely filled with events. Our trucks passed a special stage steady, confidently. We've been waiting for them on the liaison and together went to the following bivouac. It seemed that for today significant events won't occur any more. But the race, it is a race till arrival at home. Not far from Senegal on the narrow road a lot of cars were accumulated: guys from Kazakhstan managed to stick by their heavy assistance car in dried up from above bog. By the time our car came, rescue actions has already began, but one truck 510 of a Czech team of OffRoadSport was not enough in order that in such tight road conditions to put on the road a big truck. Who else has such experience on trucks rescue from traps as "KAMAZ-master"?Three assistance trucks 510, 515 and 525 participated in the rescue operation which took less than half an hour. As a result of the common international efforts the car on the road, journalists are happy. That's the story. A bonus for good behavior.

Crews of the team carried out a task at maximum, but it is impossible to relax: the history of rally marathons is full of instructive stories when the last ten kilometers didn't allow sportsmen to take a place on a podium. Therefore despite the fact that sports classification will be published today, we will wish good luck to the guys on the way to a podium.
